After graduating from UBC Engineering, Terry started his career in mining and pulp and paper. He then worked for a consulting company and while there, earned a MBA in strategic planning. Terry and his partner saw a niche market for industrial on-site Turnaround and Project Management and formed JTM Consulting Ltd. While working on a project at BC Hydro, Terry was asked to assist in the development of the PowerSmart Energy Efficient programs, specifically energy audits and studies, energy managers and coaches, and measurement and verification criteria. Terry enjoys the West Coast with its year-round activities like hiking, swimming and running.
